LABOR.DOG ← Main site

labor.dog is union management software for local labor unions.

labor.dog is a secure, web-based platform that helps a local labor union run its day-to-day operations in one place. It is used by union officers, stewards, and members of verified local unions — built for fire and police locals first, and open to every labor local by invitation.

What the app does

A single labor.dog account gives a local union tools to manage:

How members sign in, and how we use Google data

Members of a verified local sign in to their local’s labor.dog site with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Google.

When a member chooses Sign in with Google, labor.dog requests only their name and email address from Google (the email and profile scopes). We use this data solely to match and sign the member into their existing labor.dog account.

Sign in with Google never creates a new account, and labor.dog does not access, store, sell, or share any other Google data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

Security & privacy

Each local’s data is kept isolated from every other local, access is controlled by role, and sensitive files — grievances, legal documents — are limited to the officers who should see them. Two-factor authentication is supported and is always enforced when a member has enabled it, including on Sign in with Google. We never sell your data.

Frequently asked questions

Who is labor.dog for?

Local labor unions and their officers, stewards, and members. Access is invite only and limited to verified locals — there are no public sign-ups.

Is labor.dog affiliated with my national or international union?

No. labor.dog is an independent platform, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any national or international union. It is built and maintained to support local unions directly.

How do members sign in?

With an email and password, or with Sign in with Google. Google sign-in only signs a member into an account that already exists — it never creates one — and uses only the member’s name and email.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Data is isolated per local, access is role-based, sensitive files are restricted to authorized officers, and two-factor authentication is supported. See the Privacy Policy.

How does my local get access?

labor.dog is invitation only. If your local has an invite, activate it and your members can sign in. Otherwise, reach out at support@labor.dog.
